ગુજરાત હાઈકોર્ટે 2004માં થયેલી 3000 પોલીસ કોન્સ્ટેબલની ભરતી પ્રક્રિયા રદ કરી છે. પોલીસ કોન્સ્ટેબલની ભરતી પ્રક્રિયા મામલે રાજ્ય સરકારે બનાવેલું સિલેક્ટ લિસ્ટ હાઈકોર્ટે રદ ઠેરવ્યું છે. કોર્ટે ઠેરવ્યું છે કે, અનામતની જોગવાઈ રાખ્યા વગરનું અને જોગવાઈના યોગ્ય પાલન કર્યા સિવાયનું સિલેક્ટ લિસ્ટ રદ કરવું પડે. આ સાથે કોર્ટે રાજ્ય સરકારને અનામતની જોગવાઈઓનું પૂરતું પાલન કરી 15 દિવસમાં નવું સિલેક્ટ લિસ્ટ બનાવવા અને 2 મહિનામાં સમગ્ર ભરતી પ્રક્રિયા પૂર્ણ કરવા આદેશ કર્યો છે.
